FAQs
I posted a comment, but I don’t see it — what did I do wrong?
It’s not you, it’s me.
If you’ve never posted a comment before, or if you used a different email address, then the comment goes to me to check it first. Once I’ve approved your first comment, all others from you are automatically approved. This helps me watch our for spammers. And believe me — if everything was automatically approved, you would see a ton of stupid spam comments on every page!
I posted a comment, but how do I get my picture up there?
Those pictures are populated by gravatar - a globally recognized avatar. You can create an account there an associate a picture with your email account. Then, on any blog that makes use of avatar’s (many many do — most in the WordPress community), when you post a comment, the blog will compare your email address against the list in gravatar. If it finds a match in gravatar, your picture will appear with your comment in the blog.
Why are some of your comics just dumb?
Thanks a lot. No, but seriously — they’re not, at least IMHO (in my humble opinion). Everyone has their own sense of humor, and audiences they are trying to reach. Sometimes you might just not “get” something because it is very context specific, i.e. some of my jokes only make sense to die-hard LEGO fans. I can’t please everyone all the time. And that’s fine. If you really think something is dumb, mark it with one star. If you really like something, though, mark it with 5 stars. I keep a close watch on the things that people really like and try to do more of them if I can.
Where can I get a box of Cap’N Minifig Head cereal?
Sorry, it’s completely fictional. And probably too crunchy, as it would be made entirely out of ABS plastic.
What did those Bad Minifigs do to deserve so much punishment?
That’s a good question. Maybe we’ll address that sometime. As for now, just understand that they, indeed, have been bad, and need to be punished. Just be glad it’s not you.
