Yes, I think it would be great to have a series of Superman LEGO sets. There is a lot of great material there and I’ll get into that more over the next several posts. Not sure that I would follow Joe’s approach and get a petition going, but it’s worth a thought. As a matter of fact, Joe’s going to be working pretty hard to get signatures over the next several days. Stick around to see if he gets anywhere.
Hmm. One reason I think it would be cool to have Superman LEGO sets? I see the cover of Action Comics #1 making a very awesome $10-$15 set, for one. Sure, a Superman minifig, 3 crooks running away, and a car that you get to smash. Seems like some of the most popular things (besides the Clone Wars) are vehicles. And minifigs. So there you have it.
Though if Joe Jerry is having trouble convincing people, maybe I would, too.
Whaddya think? Superman LEGO sets … good idea? bad idea? Why or why not?
Looks like Joe Jerry, like everyone else in the news lately, has lost his civility. He’s starting to take the rejection of his Superman LEGO set petition a bit personally. And he only just got to asking his third person.
Looks like this guy has signed some petitions before, but I’m not convinced Joe’s going to want his signature. Lets just say he’s a few bricks short of a LEGO set.
Seems like Joe might have gotten this guy’s signature if he wasn’t so worried about making sure the guy knew what he was signing. Alas, those big blue boy scout types!
The Brick Side: a LEGO-built webcomic, now with Redneck appeal. =)
Maybe Joe needs to start dressing up like other superheroes and try a different cause. Many fans were saddened when the Spider-man license was lost to a LEGO imposter company. And we are all still puzzled as to why LEGO suddenly quit making Batman sets, especially since the sets were disappearing right as th LEGO Batman video game hit the shelves. Now any of these sets are costing a pretty penny on the likes of eBay. So, LEGO, how about Superman sets?
Oh, by the way — in case you missed it, Joe’s last statement is a direct reference to the cover of Action Comics #1.
Joe Jerry takes up his Superman LEGO petition with … Darth Ludicrous? How did he get back to “a long time ago” and how did he go “far, far away?” There seem to be a lot of Plot Holes in this episode of The Brick Side. Sounds like it could be a good candidate for a canonical episode of Star Wars.
Hmm. Not that I’ve done a lot of Star Wars Plot Holes spoofs. Maybe I can remedy that in the future.
Anyhow, for those that noticed, yes, Darth Ludicrous lost his cape a couple episodes ago. Yes, Joe Jerry got it. Is the Universe any safer? Decidedly, no.
That’s right, Joe Jerry — what is it that you do when you’re not dressed up in blue tights and a cape?
