Episode #01

Welcome to The Brick Side

And so begins my epic foray into comics. Perhaps I could solililoquize on how long I’ve wanted to make a comic strip. Perhaps I could discuss how one of my earliest childhood ambitions was to be a cartoonist. Perhaps I could post a long list of all the comic strip ideas I’ve thought up over the years. Nah. Suffice it to say that combining LEGO, a comic strip, and a website is something I really enjoy right now.

P.S. This one’s not really intended to be a knee slapper, but to introduce the basic concept. Oh, and if you didn’t catch it, yes, I was directly alluding to The Far Side by Gary Larson. My basic explanation for The Brick Side is: The Far Side meets LEGO bricks; hilarity ensues. Whether or not you enjoyed The Far Side, and whether or not you enjoy LEGO (wait, what am I saying, of course you enjoy LEGO!), I hope you’ll enjoy The Brick Side.

Oh, by the way–make sure you sign up for updates via RSS or email, so you don’t miss out.  :)

You forgot the Light Side and the Dark Side of the Force (or Farce?).

@Matthew Smith — Oh, that comes up later. Can’t cover everything in the first comic. :)
