Episode #115

For those of you wondering about a beach episode in the middle of January–lots of people hit the Beach in January. They’re just not usually hitting the beach in Canada or Siberia. We were at Myrtle Beach this past week. It was in the 40’s & 50’s, so not too bad for taking a walk on the beach all bundled up, but definitely not too great for swimming or wading. My boys tried running around barefoot at the waters edge for a few minutes only to retreat shortly thereafter shivering and  complaining they were cold. :D

In the meantime I was able to get a few shots in. This particular trip to the beach for Mr. & Mrs. Banter has one more episode in it.

If you’re newly acquainted with the series, a quick read of episode 75 will explain why the last two statements were significant, though I think the strip reads pretty funny without that, as well.

Oh, and a word about “knock your block off.” I stole that from Lucy — isn’t that what she’s always saying to Charlie Brown? But it just seems so fitting in a “LEGO setting.” =)

‘Knock your block off’ is a phrase I also use.

    Probably shouldn’t have said that.
Probably makes me sound like a granny-robbing gangster.

    # Pe-ads So you’re implying that Mrs. Banter looks like a “granny-robbing gangster?” I never knew she had it in her… =)

Definitely got that gangster streak in her…

I can picture her with a big tommy-gun pointing it at some old granny, saying “Gimme the money, you old bag, or I’ll knock your block off!” She’d also say it in a gravelly voice that gave evidence of too much smoking…

    Ahem.
